Bratwurst Skillet Dinner

  • 2 links Beef Bratwurst sausage
  • 1 c bell pepper (large dice)
  • 2 clove garlic (split)
  • 2 carrots (sliced)
  • 3 potatoes (diced russet)
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 jalapeno pepper (seeds intact)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  1. Cut vegetables as described set aside.

  2. Add olive oil to pan and warm before adding next ingredient.

  3. Place potatoes in oil without splattering on you.

  4. Saute on medium heat without turning for 5 minutes.

  5. Turn potatoes and add carrot cook for another 5 minutes before turning.

  6. Add peppers and seasoning and cook stirring often

  7. Place chicken broth flour ketchup and wine together and pour over vegetables.

  8. Cook for approximately 3 minutes more

  9. Serve with biscuits and a salad
